About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
2. Work on building reusable code and libraries for future use
3. Work on the optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
4. Implement security and data protection
5. Design and implement data storage solutions
6. Manage Amazon Web Services
7. Work on user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
8. Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
9. Manage hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
10. Work on data migration, transformation, and scripting
11. Understand differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile, desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
12. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests

1. Must have a basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

2. Must have experience in handling EC2, SES, lambda functions, S3 buckets, etc.

3. Must have a good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS

4. Should have an understanding of accessibility and security compliance

5. Must have proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language (PHP)

6. Must have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

7. Must have a proficient understanding of OWASP security principles
