Big Data Internship (Remote)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research, and understand big data cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.), e.g. Snowflake, Spark, Azure SQL Warehouse, Teradata, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery
2. Implement and develop small pilot and proof of concept use cases
3. Develop small features of Flexter, our ETL tool for semi-structured data
4. Document your findings

What you should know:

1. Good understanding of data and data warehouse architecture
2. Good understanding of cloud computing, SQL, and relational databases
3. One of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Scala

Personal qualities:

1. Student of computer science or related field
2. Good English language communication skills
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Explore and evaluate new ideas and technologies
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently on a complex exploratory project
6. Strong affinity for teamwork and empowering fellow developers
