Bioinformatics Analysis Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Write scripts to automate tasks using Shell/Python
2. Analyze data using various Linux-based tools
3. Work on curating in-house databases/catalogs
4. Work on the identification of useful resources for analyzing relevant data
5. Work on a literature review to identify various information and update the current knowledge base

Who can apply:

2. can start the internship between 2nd May'22 and 6th Jun'22

3. are available for a duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements
1. Experience with building custom NGS analysis pipelines

2. Proficient in R/Python, Linux

3. Knowledge about various databases and tools used for analyzing human/microbial genomes

4. Good knowledge of human and population genetics

5. Experience with nanopore analysis

6. Experience with pipeline orchestration tools (Nextflow/Snakemake) version
