About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Preparing media and stock solution
2. Preparing explants
3. Initiating and maintaining callus
4. Induction of shoot & root
5. Working with somatics embryogenesis
6. Working with anther and microspore culturing
7. Working with immature inflorescence culture
8. Working with meristem-tip culture for propagation and virus elimination
9. Enabling clonal propagation
10. Working with in-vitro propagation of plants
11. Enabling micropropagation of flower bulbs
12. Studying spore-derived axenic cultures as a method of propagation

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 13th May'19 and 12th Jun'19

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Mumbai and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests
