3. Maintain inventory of rooms & vacancies

5. Manage the creation of sales presentations, marketing emails, newsletters
6. Coordinate cultural events with local hosts
7. Analyze sales reports for key trends & provide weekly sales updates on activities & opportunities
8. Ensure clear, efficient and effective communication with other businesses & customers
Skills & other requirements:
1. A graduate degree is preferred
2. An understanding of the sales process, including commission structures, marketing plans, incentives, and group sales in the tourism sector
3. Excellent communicator with the ability to develop and deliver presentations
4. Ability to travel as needed
5. Experience of 1-2 years of B2B/B2C consumer sales/relationship management, and working with destination management companies and third-party suppliers is preferred
6. Successful sales history in the tourism sector with knowledge of tourism/travel global sales trends
7. Knowledge of offbeat destinations including trekking, wildlife, adventure etc. is preferred
8. Self-motivated and team-oriented

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 50 per homestay marketed on booking sites).
