Makers Markets is an operationally segregated unit of NIKITHA. We are a Sydney, Australia-based startup connecting makers with markets. We work with brick-and-mortar shops in the high street to place your products in spaces with high retail foot traffic. From established makers of products online to those scaling a startup, we find a shelf space that's right for products and place them through our partner organizations.

About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Supporting marketing activities of our startup (this includes creating a target list of clients, developing a strategy to contact them, and building-out a pipeline of opportunities)
2. Developing commercial strategy, helping prepare PowerPoint investor pitch and stakeholder engagement presentation slides & supporting the startup with application for grants
3. Working on social media marketing and making graphical posters for representing our product to various stakeholders
4. Working on business research, reading and summarizing key policy documents and competitor reports
