About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Drive sales through the growth of existing clients
2. Generate new business opportunities
3. Master how to get construction leads and implement a lead-generation strategy
4. Master the construction sales process at their company
5. Complete documents on time, such as construction bids, customer proposals, change orders, weekly call reports
6. Ensure all construction bids are consistent and eliminate embarrassing errors by creating a construction proposal template library
7. Achieve/exceed targeted new commercial calls per month within a specified territory
8. Generate new sales opportunities by cold calling, networking, and client/associate referrals
9. Attend trade shows to represent the organization and engage in other marketing activities
10. Inspect, scope, photograph, and estimate projects
11. Maintain acceptable profit margins
12. Follow up on all outstanding RFPs and estimates with clients
13. Maintain sales quota for each quarter and year as provided
14. Take responsibility for the solicitation of project documents and information

Requirements:

1. Ability to perform all aspects of selling/closing a project
2. Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
