About the Internship:
The account management team ensures a smooth relationship with merchants in different cities over the call and works on retention of existing accounts under their responsibility. They are accountable for developing a long-term working relationship with an assigned merchant and manage their portfolio. Account managers operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to their account.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Attaining retention target of the company
2. Nurturing the assigned merchants and increasing avenues for repeat business/sales
3. Establishing budgets/deals with the company and assigned merchants
4. Setting and tracking sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
5. Acting as the point of contact for all matters related to the merchant's portfolio
6. Maintaining and building a long-lasting and strong relationship as a trusted advisor with the assigned merchants
7. Communicating with external and internal stakeholders the periodic progress of the business

Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. can start the internship between 10th Jan'19 and 9th Feb'19
  3. are available for duration of 6 months
  4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements:
  1. Candidates who can understand/speak Tamil
  2. Candidates who are energetic and gritty, with a 'roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes' attitude
  3. Candidates who are self-monitored and competitive, able to work with minimal supervision while achieving targets and goals
  4. Candidates who are open to feedback
  5. Candidates who are curious and have a go-getter
  6. Candidates who are adaptable, persistent, and able to thrive in ambiguity - things change quickly in our fast-paced startup and you'll need to be able to keep up
