Anemia is one of the most common global health problems affecting both developed and developing countries. Approximately two billion people, nearly 30% of the world population are estimated to be currently anemic, women of reproductive age, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children are the most vulnerable populations. The 2015 World Health Organization (WHO) fact sheets on the global statistics of anemia show that roughly 273 million (43%) children, 32.4 million (38%) pregnant women, 496 million (29%) non-pregnant women, and 29% of all women of reproductive age are anemic. High consumption of alcohol can lead to several forms of liver disease including alcoholic hepatitis, alcoholic fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer, Jaundice, or yellowing of the skin, can be one sign of liver disease. Another most common respiratory diseases for which patients visit doctors in India is related to the oxygen saturation level.
