Business Development (Sales) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions
2. Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
3. Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery
4. Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
5. Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
6. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
7. Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
8. Arrange and carry out product training
9. Analyze costs and sales
10. Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records
11. Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
12. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
13. Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
14. Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
15. Help in the design of custom-made products
16. Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team
