Business Development (Sales) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Generate new leads through outbound calling on prospects identified as potentially needing our online marketing solutions (contacting the active in-house prospect list)
2. Take 100% ownership for the initial stages of the sales development cycle - new business research, preliminary needs assessment/analysis, initial introduction, and online product demonstrations
3. Actively build, manage and report on sales pipeline build-up using the online CRM app
4. Collect in-depth prospect information for subsequent consultative sales stages
5. Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions
6. Work with the sales team on the sales pitches and prospect presentations and proposals
7. Maintain daily sales and productivity records
8. Present weekly performance against sales targets in company meetings
9. Build strong relationships with prospects through regular and systematic follow-up and contact programs
