Business Development (Sales) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identify and engage with government defense labs, PSUs, and research institutions.
2. Develop relationships with procurement officers, technical evaluators, and decision-makers.
3. Work with government e-procurement platforms (GeM, e-Tenders, etc.).
4. Prepare and submit bids, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
5. Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
6. Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
7. Ensure post-sales engagement, including training, AMC, and issue resolution.
8. Maintain strong relationships for repeat business opportunities.
9. Track industry trends, upcoming tenders, and competitor offerings.
10. Provide feedback for product improvements based on customer insights.

Required Skills:

1. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
2. Technical understanding of products related to defense labs and PSUs.
3. Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance.
4. Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Electronics or related field).
2. Experience in selling to government clients (defense, PSUs).
3. Knowledge of GeM portal and public sector procurement processes.
