Business Development (Sales) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on the identification of local sources for prospective clients
2. Forward any leads/prospects received to the sales support team for documentation/database after validating the same with the lead product sales
3. Understand the sales target of the company for achievement of the same and discuss and seek inputs on the broad strategy for achievement of the targets set
4. Document and track the sales figures month on month so as to plan ahead for catching up with the annual targets
5. Discuss the proposal with the customer to ensure effective transfer of ideas and also to understand/address queries on any of the aspects
6. Use benefit statements for the offered products and services
7. Provide any documentation required by clients such as certificates, credentials, and so on with the help of the sales support team
8. Track and follow-up on proposals and handle negotiations
9. Track the order status periodically to ensure timely deliveries
10. Track payment receipts from customer and follow up to ensure timely
