Hara Jeevan is a non-profit organization that was formed with the core belief of giving back to mother earth. Since January 2015, we have been actively pursuing the task of contributing to the ecological restoration in and near Delhi. We have been involved in tree plantation & maintenance, composting, and environmental awareness-building activities in different schools and colleges in Delhi. We work on waste management activities and have set up mesh composting, vermicomposting, and pit composting units where waste is being converted into manure.
We are in the process of setting up a 'Native Plant Nursery' in Delhi for the purpose of native tree plantation. Along with this, we are also building an 'Environment Curriculum' for schools from 2nd to 12th standard, which will be covered in many schools.
