Business Development (Sales) Internship (Part time)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Generating sales from the existing clients
2. Handling incoming inquiries by explaining the exhibition & convincing them to participate
3. Identifying prospective corporate clients
4. Working on new client acquisition and working on leads
5. Creating/Maintaining excellent relationships with clients
6. Handling cold calling, calling the existing leads, mailing the proposals, follow-ups; personally meeting them to deliver presentations, convincing them, offering them the valuable proposal; closing the deals with the clients with the regular follow-ups; meetings
7. Ensuring timely collection of revenue from clients
8. Ensuring successful accomplishments of set business targets
9. Visiting the trade shows and gathering useful data
10. Conducting research and developing a list of potential exhibitors/sponsors
11. Entering into the new market segments and creating an edge over competitors
12. Exploring sponsorship opportunities
13. Ensuring active involvement in operational activities during the show
14. Managing accounts for newly acquired customers through their first show cycle to ensure a positive experience and providing resolution advice where necessary, and working with other business functions (e.g. marketing, brand, or event operations)
15. Liaising with the event director in relation to key high-value new customers, and sales operations with regards to available spots on the floor plan
