Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 2000 per sales).
Alfaleus is a med-tech start-up incubated at the Vellore Institute of Technology VIT-TBI. Our first product, C3-Fields is a portable and cost-effective device to screen Glaucoma (a disease that affects over 100 million people and leads to permanent blindness). We have been closely working with some of the world's best eye care providers (like Aravind Eye Hospital, JIPMER, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine), over the last 24 months for device development and have recently conducted trials with up to 90% result correlation. Our work has received tremendous appreciation from the medical community and won multiple awards at events like GSI-2018 (Glaucoma Society of India Conference) and AIOC-2018 (All India Ophthalmic Conference), Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Swissnex from Switzerland government and Xpomet Berlin, Germany.
