Business Development (Sales) Internship (Part time/Remote)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Understand prospective market segments based on market research & communicate this information to the CEO
2. Identify early adopters with a deep understanding of the customer segment & our value proposition
3. Generate lead lists & qualify leads
4. Develop targeted email campaigns
5. Identify & employ tactics to maximize customer development and business development
6. Set up 1-on-1 meetings between the prospect & the company

In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle & lead generation process, while developing insights into how to engage a customer. Techniques you will learn include developing targeted email campaigns & written communication skills. You will have exposure to B2B customers in diverse sectors including construction, manufacturing & energy.

Additional responsibilities :
As we are a fast growing startup, this is also an opportunity to wear multiple hats & develop a wide variety of sales, marketing and even operations skills in a short period of time. Additional responsibilities include -
Inbound marketing, content creation, blogs
Create technical whitepapers, based on Engg input
Growth hacking, digital marketing, creating sales funnel through inbound strategy
General understanding of web hosting frameworks such as Wix
Savvy with technology & digital marketing tools
Funding - put together proposal for research grants, create pitch deck for investors
