The intern is responsible for designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as SolidWorks to solve the client's technical problems. Design prototypes for products, creates and tests prototypes, and creates documentation for the same.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Analyze, design and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client s goal
2. Create detailed design documentation
3. Maintain development methodologies, procedures, and standards
4. Create drawings in 2-D or 3-dimensional form
5. Aid in the selection of materials for the products
6. Produce final design specifications
