VOICE 4 Girls envisions that all girls will be decision makers in their lives and work towards breaking harmful cycles of economic, social, and gender inequality in their communities. VOICE 4 Girls enables marginalized adolescent girls in India to take charge of their futures by imparting critical knowledge, spoken English, and life skills through activity-based camps. Our girl-focused curriculum features topics such as health, safety, rights, future planning, and self-awareness while building skills such as leadership, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
VOICE camp is a vibrant space where campers learn through games, puzzles, discussions, role play, group work, song, and dance. Camps are run by young female college students called camp counselors, who are trained by VOICE to mentor the girls and impart the VOICE curriculum.
