IARF Centre for United Nations (ICUN) is the division of IARF dedicated to driving United Nations related initiatives at a national and international level. Our agenda is in accord with United Nations General Assembly declaration A/RES/66/288- 66/288- The Future We Want and A/RES/70/1- Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We drive conversations, inspire partnerships, cultivate communities, and advocate policy-making discussions to support United Nations work for a peaceful and prosperous world, for you and all of us.
About the Program
COP+26 International Climate Change Program is part of the COP Program (2015-2030) launched during the UN Paris Climate Summit, COP21, France. It is a co-curricular program that sees participation from students and educators alike.
The selected campus ambassadors' roles and responsibilities include:
1. Undertake online awareness drive - Post posters, use WhatsApp, Facebook, email, etc.
2. Reach out to clubs, committees, event team, etc to promote COP+26 Program
3. Coordinate with IARF Centre for United Nations to facilitate participation on campus
4. Register participants for COP+26 Certification Course
Learning opportunities
Over the years, ICUN ambassador/coordinator roles have proven to improve leadership skills and boost career prospects
