Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in the collection and preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports
2. Coordinating with the accounting officer during audits and annual forecasting
3. Communicating with the accounts payable manager and accounts receivable manager to track pending invoices
4. Undertaking data entries and balance sheet reconciliations
5. Assisting the accounting team in researching and analyzing our financial data
6. Maintaining accurate and detailed inventory records
7. Performing administrative duties such as preparing invoices and updating accounting files, as and when required
8. Cross-checking financial statements and data for accuracy
9. Using accounting software when performing accounting duties such as generating financial reports
10. Assisting the payment processing team in undertaking credit checks
11. Adhering to state and federal regulations when performing accounting duties
12. Ensuring completion of assigned tasks as per the timeline provided
13. Preparing and verifying expense reports and statements
14. Assisting in filing IT returns
