Chat agents communicate with candidates through live chat or SMS to answer questions, solve problems and troubleshoot. Since they function on the front line of candidate service, it s important that chat agents be comfortable communicating directly with candidates. Chat agents can work remotely and are generally required to have candidate service experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Keep candidates happy and successfully solve any problems that may arise, chat agents perform a range of tasks
2. Receive and promptly respond to candidate queries
3. Handle candidate queries when a job is published
4. Consolidate CV and send it to the recruiter
5. Proactively check if all the documents are uploaded
6. Manage diaries of candidate and client
Whether chat agents are contacted by SMS or live chat, they must make a continual effort to respond to candidates as quickly as possible. Once they receive a message from a candidate, they must listen carefully to the candidate s question or complaint before the following protocol in order to resolve the issue or answer the question.
