2. Plan and carry out complex research projects, such as the development of new products and testing methods
3. Analyze substances to determine their composition and concentration of elements
4. Conduct tests on materials and other substances to ensure that safety and quality standards are met
5. Write technical reports that detail methods and findings
6. Present research findings to scientists, engineers, and other colleagues
7. Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses, using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical or chemical separation techniques, or microscopy
8. Maintain a clean lab space with utmost attention to safety
9. Carry out world-class research, especially industrial R&D
10. Maintain documents, extract insights, analyze data into well-designed reports and presentations
