Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include being in charge of one site of construction & reporting to the Project/Site engineer.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 12th Feb'20 and 20th Mar'20
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Why we started Nakhsha in Mysore? My dad was about to retire in a month and we wanted to construct an additional floor to our house, so we contacted a local contractor who gave us a quote and a tentative timeline of 3 months. Having very less knowledge of this field we agreed and paid him an advance. The contractor kept charging us for the materials almost every week, we had no clue as to why so much material was required, when questioned, he started harassing us by delaying the work and using foul language. We asked to terminate the contract and he said that we had to settle his full amount before he let go we had no go but to compromise and dance to his tunes. After 7.5 Months, he finally completed it and the cost had almost exceeded 3 times the specified amount. It was at this moment that I decided to start a firm of my own. Coming from a management background, I landed my first construction project in 2015. 3 years later, I have already constructed more than 2 lakhs square feet.
