About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Own infrastructure to support our Azure-based cloud platform
2. Create and utilize tools to monitor our applications and services in the cloud including system health indicators, trend identification, and anomaly detection preferably tools provided by Microsoft itself
3. Design, develop, and maintain software that supports 100% automation
4. Evangelize and implement the concepts of infrastructure as code
5. Work with development teams to help engineer scalable, reliable, and resilient software running in the cloud
6. Participate in on-call escalation to troubleshoot customer facing issues
7. Enhance monitoring of systems, services to solve problems before they become problems for our customers
8. Analyze and monitor performance bottlenecks and key metrics to optimize software and system performance
9. Provide analytics and forecasts for cloud capacity, troubleshooting analysis, and uptime
