Candidates with a degree in M.Sc (maths) from a premium institute with a knowledge of advanced topics like abstract algebra (groups, rings), metric spaces, topology, graph theory, multivariable calculus, linear programming, real analysis, complex analysis, ordinary differential equations (DEs), partial DEs, graphical solutions of DEs, numerical methods, optimization (LPP, simplex method, etc) will be preferred
