HEDCON is a social advocacy and networking non-governmental organization in Jaipur. Since 1998, it has been working in India to influence, sensitize, capacitate, and support grass-root initiatives and organizations, with a vision of a just and equitable society. HEDCON and its members work on the basis of Gandhian ethics, which means working for the collective uprising of men, women, and children, regardless of the economic situation, caste, or religion.

It believes that research-based advocacy about the causes of poverty and ground-level problems is an essential part of achieving sustainable development and ensuring the rights of the underprivileged and vulnerable HEDCON carries out projects with policymakers at both state and national levels in order to influence policies. It works to sensitize and build the capacities of vulnerable people and grassroots to enhance the effectiveness of development activities.
