Cost (Accounts) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of SIC's business activity such as service cost, working hour based labor cost calculation, vendor cost calculation, and deciding payment agreement terms
2. Analyzing data collected and recording results
3. Planning, finalizing and later analyzing changes in service design, timelines, cost sheets, service process methods and delivery of services provided, to determine effects on cost
4. Analyzing actual service delivery costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual delivery costs
5. Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
6. Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
7. Making estimates of new and proposed services costs
8. Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of services
9. Maintaining cost accounting system
10. Preparing books of accounts for costs as well as preparing books of accounts for accounts
11. Assisting in the month-end close of general ledger (accounts)
12. Conducting service count and monitors the cycle count program
13. Reconciling delivered services, payments received as well as paid with office running expenses, to compute cost incurred per service delivery
