To make our crafts research deeper and the products line more robust and diversified, we are looking to explore collaborative projects with craft and design college students.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on craft research
2. Handle consistent dying - We have been working with the grass and different synthetic and organic dyes. But, the consistency of the color is not maintained for the natural fibers. This becomes an issue in the export orders
3. Work on grass softening - Explore ways to soften grass as Sabai grass is not soft and it limits its usage. We are not able to use it for products like bags or products that come in touch with the skin because of its rough texture
4. Handle the water-resistant quoting - Explore ways to make the surface water-resistant, so that its shelf life increases by lacquering and coating, etc.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 20th Jun'22 and 25th Jul'22
3. are available for duration of 4 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
