About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop original content for fiction, nonfiction, short stories, puzzles, quizzes, rhymes
2. Use the written word to express storylines and ideas
3. Conduct research to obtain factual information and authentic detail, utilizing sources such as newspaper accounts, diaries, and interviews
4. Perform extensive fact-checking
5. Judge, assess the value, importance, or quality of content
6. Network, liaise with other writers, as well as others involved in the industry such as publishers, agents
