We're building MyScoot, a real-life meaningful social network where discovering like-minded people is as easy as showing up. We help people tap into their passions and create a safe place for micro-communities.
Based out of California, we are funded by Y Combinator and top VCs in India and were founded in 2017 by graduates from IIM-Calcutta and IIT Kharagpur with past experience working with the Boston Consulting Group, BD, Operations & Product Management domain and folks with 3x startup experience.
Our product works just like Airbnb; people can discover get-togethers or host them, making money for house parties, boardgame parties, living room gigs, brunches, or evening gatherings, for example. We use a 5-step verification process to screen users and help ensure a safe environment.
