About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Analyze network protocols and develop IPS signatures and app rules that fulfill COSGrid Cloud product engines
2. Develop automation scripts to aid in research and analysis tasks
3. Enhance product accuracy and its ability to detect new threats in the dynamically-changed security landscape
4. Work on log analysis to identify new threats
5. Utilize data warehouse with big-data technologies to support your work

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 12th Jan'21 and 16th Feb'21

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Hands-on experience in the cyber-security threats, techniques, and tools

2. Knowledge of networking architecture and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, HTTPS)

3. Understanding of the cyber-security landscape and common attack scenarios: malware C&C, drive-by attacks, phishing, network scans, etc.

4. Experience (hands-on) with Wireshark and PCAP analysis

5. Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python

6. Analytic spirit: define a thesis and validate it based on in-depth analysis
