Indians weren't meeting the social dance standards and this led to the commencement of VR DanceSport earlier known as DanceSport India. They saw that techniques in India we referred to basic musicality, weight change and partner work which is only a part of social dancing. Rajeswari Vaidyanathan set out on an endeavor to launch an authentic Latin & ballroom dance school in India having various locations in Mumbai.
