We are looking to hire a data analyst intern to join our data team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, creating a visualization, and writing data blogs. To do well in this role, you need a very fine eye for detail and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. Moreover, you should enjoy playing with data.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases
2. Perform cleansing, processing, and validation on the data subject to analyze, in order to ensure its quality
3. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
4. Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis
5. Clearly communicate the findings from the analysis to turn information into something actionable through reports, dashboards, and/or presentations
6. Write a data blog around the findings

1. BS/BTech in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management, or statistics
2. Strong analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
3. Proficient in data research from multiple sources (primary/secondary)
4. Proficient in at least one query language
5. Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool/package, such as Matplotlib, Plotly
6. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
7. Great verbal/written skills
