Data Logger Development (Solar Instruments) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Create a primarily offline logger which can communicate with a solar radiation temperature sensor over RS485 and record the data with a timestamp on a memory card
2. Figure out the necessary details related to communication
3. Design a compact IP65 enclosure for this which will minimize the chance of any interruptions during data logging
4. Figure out the details related to RS485 communication protocol from sensor unit
5. Communicate over RS485 with the sensor unit and get radiation-temperature data
6. Manage time synch with main unit so that there is no deviation in recording time
7. Setup a program to record the data with timestamp on a local memory card
