Data Research Internship (Part time)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the creation of a gender equality index that will aim to rank all of India s states and UTs along with predefined gender equity measures
2. Preparing background research on past global gender equality indices, as well as indices created for the Indian context
3. Using the research to support the identification of indicators, data sources, and methodologies for the upcoming index
4. Reviewing global and cross-country gender equality indices; including indicators & data sources used, and methodologies for data analysis
5. Researching indices used in the Indian context; including the indicators, data, and methodologies used, as well as the implementation and dissemination plans post their release
6. Handling other relevant duties as required by the lead technical team
