About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Undertake data collection, preprocessing and analysis
2. Build machine learning models to address business problems
3. Present information using data visualization techniques
4. Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
5. Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
6. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
7. Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
8. Combine models through ensemble modeling
9. Present information using data visualization techniques
10. Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
11. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
12. Use Google Cloud Big Data services such as Bigquery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub

Added requirements

1. Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst or Data engineer

2. Understanding of machine-learning

3. Knowledge of R, SQL, Python, and JAVA; familiarity with cloud Big Data technologies is an asset

4. Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Data Studio

5. Analytical mind and business acumen

6. Strong math skills especially in statistics, algebra, and calculus

7. Problem-solving aptitude

8. Excellent communication and presentation skills

9. B.Tech/BSc/MSc/ in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative field is preferred
