Data Science Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Set up systems for collecting data; cleaning data
2. Read and summarize research papers and reports
3. Tweak and implement ideas from these research papers to develop algorithms
4. Analyse the data and algorithms

You will work directly with the VP of special projects. Your job will let you work on datasets across the organization.

You are expected to:

i) have good mathematical fundamentals
ii) be proficient in Python
iii) keep up to date with the latest machine learning tools and techniques

Please note that a lot of the work will require you to carefully understand different battery mechanisms and manufacturing steps. In a way, there's more stress on the 'science' part of data science. Please do not come in with the expectation that you will just be handed readymade datasets on which you can apply off-the-shelf models.
