Data Science Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
2. Working on data mining using state-of-the-art methods
3. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
4. Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
5. Utilizing strong database skills to work with large, complex data sets to extract insights
6. Identifying new internal and external data sources to support analytics initiatives and working with appropriate partners to absorb the data into new or existing data infrastructure
7. Building tools for automating repetitive tasks so that the bandwidth can be freed for analytics
