Data Science Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
2. Work to undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
3. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
4. Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
5. Work to combine models through ensemble modeling
6. Present information using data visualization techniques
7. Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
8. Collaborate with engineering and product development
9. Work on conversational AI framework (Google Assistant Dialogflow, NLP)

Skills and other requirements:

1. Programming skills - Python (with working experience in the most common libraries like SciKit, NumPy, Pandas, Mathplotlib, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, Genism, spaCy, etc.)
2. Good knowledge and experience in the optimization of DL models
3. Working experience in common cloud environments and understanding of robust on-premise data science infrastructure
4. Good to have- understanding of big data related technologies and DevOps (AWS, Dockers, Singularity)

Who can apply:

1. Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or similar
2. Extensive experience as a data scientist
3. Experience is a must in ML, DL, and NLP & conversation AI is a must
4. Proficiency in R or Python (the former is preferred)
5. In-depth understanding of SQL
