Data Science Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Helping us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and helping us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products
2. Applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products
3. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
4. Working on data mining using state-of-the-art methods
5. Extending the company s data with third-party sources of information when needed
6. Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
7. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
8. Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
9. Automating scoring using machine learning techniques
10. Building recommendation systems
11. Improving and extending the features used by our existing classifier
12. Developing internal A/B testing procedures
13. Building system for automated fraud detection
