About part time job/internship

We are looking for designers, proficient in Rhino to work as trainers or classroom assistants, from 1 - 6 days a week, 11 am - 7 pm. Our next batch of 15 students will run from August but we would like you to be involved in the selection of our next candidates and teacher training from 20th July onwards. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. CAD content delivery of a structured training program to develop the employability of young women in Hindi/Marathi & English
2. Support material development, including presentations, quizzes, worksheets, and other assessment projects
3. Prepare training reports
4. Interact with, and support students, according to individual educational needs using the principles of growth mindset and keeping safeguarding training in mind
5. Safeguard the training and training on how to teach will be provided at the beginning of your placement

Added requirements

1. 3-4 years experience with Rhino software through study or work experience

2. Undergrad degree in Design, engineering or similar with in-depth training on CAD and design

3. Experience of teaching or mentoring desirable

4. Experience within the jewelry field desirable

5. Excellent team worker with strong oral and written communication

6. Well organized working style with excellent time management skills

7. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by the program

8. Willing and understanding of the need to take a sensitive approach when teaching women and girls who may have faced trauma ( training provided)

About Free-D

We are a Design and CAD/CAM school for underprivileged women operating out of MIDC in Mumbai. We seek to support 250 at-risk women into highly skilled and long term tech careers by 2021.

We are gearing up to deliver our second batch of 6-month intensive training to 15 underprivileged women age 18-21 before placing them in fresher roles within the local Jewellery design and manufacturing sector, As a young organisation, we are seeking enthusiastic and impact-driven teammates to help make our ambitious mission a reality.
