About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Deal with all service requests and incidents assigned including VIP users
2. Ensure escalated tickets are documented in real-time and in accordance with service desk processes and quality standards
3. Follow best practice ticket management processes, i.e. ensuring tickets owned are handled and updated as per process and every effort is made to make service levels
4. Present a positive, effective, and flexible contribution to achieving team targets and objectives
5. Collaborate with external Resolution Groups, including on-site teams, to ensure service levels are met or exceeded
6. Remain well versed in help desk policies, procedures, standards, and documentation
7. Resolve incidents escalated by SPOC as per the agreed SLAs and timelines and by following the SOPs and runbook
8. Escalate problem to technical team lead
9. Always keep the SPOC informed about the status of the ticket
10. Resolve tickets within the scope of responsibilities according to defined procedures and record all troubleshooting done on calls with accuracy on the ticket
11. Focus on building good working relationships within the team and also communicate and explain to end users at the help desk about the issue, cause, and solution

Other requirements

1. Experience with MS Server operating systems and ancillary services (Windows Server 2008R2 and 2012, remote desktop services, AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, and scripting skills)
