DevOps Engineering Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design, implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
2. Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
3. Create infrastructure in AWS, leveraging auto-scaling groups and security
4. Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
5. Increase the sophistication of our alerting and escalation mechanisms
6. Build tooling for self-service for developers to facilitate a culture of DevOps across the entire development organization
7. Facilitate legacy operations while migrating legacy operations to modern DevOps methodologies
8. Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture
9. Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
10. Establish, maintain, evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for existing and new services, and strengthen our application and environment security, apply standards and best practices and provide tools to make development workflows more secure
11. Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
12. Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments
13. Work on having on-call responsibilities in rotation with the engineering team
