About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage the website of the institute, including changes in content and code files
2. Implement changes wherever required on the program
3. Report to the manager/team-leader on a regular basis
4. Perform on-page and off-page optimization
5. Create high-quality backlinks using ethical SEO techniques
6. Perform keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
7. Maintain the record of monitoring site traffic & ranking keywords
8. Work on competitor analysis

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 6th Mar'21 and 10th Apr'21

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Candidates should have basic image editing and optimization skills

2. Candidates having sound knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP will be preferred

3. Candidates should have basic knowledge of GIMP/Photoshop/online image-optimization/manipulation services

4. Candidates should have on-page knowledge, i.e., knowledge of alt tags, title tag, anchor text, meta description, meta keywords, keyword research, image optimization, content optimization, sitemap (HTML & XML), HTML validation as per w3.org standards, etc.

5. Candidates must be proficient in content analysis, i.e., reviewing the content, checking for keyword density, keyword prominence and proximity

6. Candidates must be conversant with different SEO tools like Webmaster, Google Analytics, etc.
