This internship is related to podcast production and marketing. If you are not familiar with podcasts and are not a consumer of podcasts, please refrain from apply.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Obtain, organize, and maintain contact details of prospective podcast guests in a central database on a CRM or google sheet
2. Execute email/LinkedIn campaigns to book interviews with prospective podcast guests
3. Research podcast guest's profile + background and develop a conversation flow with a heartfelt guest intro including relevant, intelligent, and insightful questions
4. Develop and maintain a podcast recording and publishing calendar with at least 4 weeks of lead time
5. Design and develop marketing creatives and text copy for podcast marketing across different channels
6. Setup and design a podcast website on WordPress along with subscriber management system supported by tools like MailChimp, Convertful, etc.
7. Prepare show notes that include a summary of key topics discussed in the podcast for each episode
8. Add links to books or other interesting products mentioned in the podcast conversations
9. Execute email and social media campaigns to promote each podcast episode
10. Run growth experiments to acquire and grow relevant listeners and subscribers to the podcast
11. Setup, monitor, and report campaign performance, website traffic, subscription, and podcast playbacks/downloads by geography and channel on a daily basis
