Gurgaon has seen a rapid transformation in the last decade. It has become an important suburb and corporate hub of North India, a city of malls and plush residential complexes as well as a key inland/ freight corridor. No wonder, it is called the Millennium City. However, its infrastructure and basic services do not have the standards befitting this name. Gurgaon First (GF) is an initiative for positive change for the city of Gurgaon.
Gurgaon First was created in 2012 by progressive citizens of Gurgaon. As citizens of Gurgaon, we were firm believers in the fact that the city had a great potential to improve if somehow we could pool in the collective strengths and wisdom of all its stakeholders, the residents, the associations, the RWAs, the corporates, and NGOs. That led to the creation of Gurgaon First.
