The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is the agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India responsible for administering laws regarding foreign trade and foreign investment in India.
About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Analysis of international trade and market conditions across major markets
2. Simplification of rules & procedures of DGFT
3. Redraft or paraphrase the existing policy
4. Review of various schemes of DGFT
5. Review of existing notifications
6. Reduction of transaction costs
7. Formulation of new schemes
# of Internships available: 10
Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. are available for duration of 2 months (preferred, not mandatory)
  3. are pursuing any degree but have relevant skills and interest
  4. are currently in any year of study or are recent graduates
Economics, Finance, Law, Management
Other requirements:
  1. Students in the final year of their graduation ( 4th & 5th years, in the case of law graduates of five year stream) or post graduate/research students in Economics/Law/Finance/Management.
Additional Information:
It is a rolling internship and application can be submitted throughout the year.
