Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Deliver research and analytical assignments including report writing, literature review, and data analysis
2. Engage in extensive research in areas such as trade, emerging technology, digital services and other related areas of economic policy
3. Provide support for project-specific events, including on-ground/online surveys and outreach

Preferred skills and qualifications:

1. Pursuing or completing post-graduation in economics/statistics/technology/business/public policy
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of at least one computational suite such as STATA, R, Python or MATLAB
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to work simultaneously on multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines for assigned projects
5. Detail oriented and eager to learn
