We are a startup incubated at Tides IIT Roorkee. Our team is an interdisciplinary group of students from IIT Roorkee and we are working on a compact, portable, and inexpensive solution to the outdoor air quality problem (www.vyaan.life). Here at Vyaan Purifiers, we aim to bridge the gap between the rising problem of air pollution and the lack of efficient and affordable air filtration products, by using a unique combination of technology and design.
We have been developing innovative techniques to capture different classes of pollutants namely, fibrous media for capturing ultra-fine particulate matter, high-density ion-based precipitation for fine particulate matter, and cold ion jets for inactivating biological pollutants. We are currently developing a portable air purification device that can be worn at all times indoors and outdoors. The device has the capability to help individuals breathe while they commute or travel outdoors for up to 6-8 hours.
